Iron Sculptures Tango and Gaucho Scenes - Esculturas de Hierro


Handcrafted iron sculptures representing typical Argentinean Tango and Gaucho Scenes. The sculptures are made of iron with a wooden base where the characters stand. The handcrafted artwork shows the faces of the couple dancing and sharing a lamppost, enjoying the beauty of music and of a dance with complex intimate figures.
Tango is a typical popular music and dance that originated in the area of the Río de la Plata, and spread to the rest of the world.  




This handcrafted artwork shows the face of a “gaucho” having mate sitting on a bench of wood and with a kettle to serve water in the mate.

Mate is a traditional drink for the morning or the afternoon to enjoy with friends or alone, and is drank with a metal straw called “bombilla” with a filter-like end that serves to keep yerba mate out of the straw.
